Graceland Florist is a florist in Mt Vernon, New York. It is listed at 527 Gramatan Ave, Mt Vernon, NY 10552, which places it among the local businesses of Mt Vernon that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as event planner, flower delivery, flower designer, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Florists and flower businesses are close neighbors of garden centers, and many nurseries run a florist counter of their own. Retail florists build arrangements to order and deliver locally, floral designers work by appointment for weddings and events, flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, and flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies, tulips and sunflowers, sold by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own. Ordering from the shop directly usually means more flowers for the money than going through a national website.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–7 pm. Mt Vernon is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Mt Vernon is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.
